Australian Consumer Law sets out consumer rights that are called consumer guarantees. These include your rights to a repair, replacement or refund as well as compensation in certain circumstances. Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund or replacement where a major failure of the product you purchased has occurred within the statutory warranty timeframe.
You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Any orders made via this website is seen as your acknowledgement and acceptance of the individual Seller’s Refund and Returns policy.
FAULTY GOODS
If any good purchased on the Hali Home website is not of an acceptable quality and subject of a major or minor fault, such goods are covered by consumer guarantees under Australian consumer law.
Refunds or replacements need to be requested in writing within 14 days of the date of receiving your item.
If you believe the item you have received is faulty, we may require a detailed description of the issue as well as specific photographs which clearly identify the fault.
If we approve the return of your item(s), a refund, repair or replacement will be offered.
Any refunds will be transferred back to the original payment method, eg. your credit card, or site credit.
CHANGE OF MIND OR INCORRECT SIZING
As a business owned by a rather short lady, we get that sometimes things don’t fit or just don’t look good!  For all our full priced fashion items, if you don’t love the item, you can return it for a store credit provided you request the refund within 14 days and the item has not been worn, damaged and still has its original tags and packaging. Returns are at the cost of the sender.
Due to the size of our bulkier items and cost of shipping, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for home décor items and furniture pieces.
THINGS WE CAN’T REFUND OR REPLACE
We are unable to offer a refund or replacement for gift vouchers or any items the subject of a change of mind.
 Sale items may also not be refunded due to change of mind.
HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND OR REPLACEMENT
Refunds or replacements can be requested by contacting our team. Please ensure you advise us of your order number at the time of requesting your replacement.
Please note that we inspect all return items upon receipt. If your returned goods are assessed as having been worn, damaged, altered, tags removed, or otherwise returned outside of the outlined time frame (excluding faulty items), we will notify you of this assessment and the goods will be returned to you at a cost of $9.
If you have placed your order through AfterPay, your AfterPay payments will continue as scheduled until the full amount is paid for or until your return has been processed, whichever occurs first.Â
